If Danny does go this week i think we should use this opportunity to reward the hard work and development of one of our top youngsters. Now I'm not comparing this situation to the one that saw Tompkins rise to fame, but when Kear closes a door he opens a window.

Ideally i would have wanted to wait another few months before introducing Cain to regular SL, however nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'm sure he will have the right mind frame by now, the rest can be coached. Have him working under Ben's tuition for the rest of the season, then pair him with Brett Finch in 2011.
Simples.
If all of this has happened then Ted should start negotiations for Danny's replacement now. I honestly believe that if we offered the same wage to BF he would rip Ted's hands off in an instant. |
