Would give him benefit of doubt, but depends on what attitude he arrives with. If he views it as semi- retirement at a smaller club, it would be an expensive waste of time. If he saw it as a chance to enjoy his final years as a player with less pressure, then it could be brilliant.

Fantastic player in the days when players had skill and did not just look to run through or over the top of their opponent
but he only played 29 games for us in near on 4 seasons he was knacked when we paid Wigan a world record transfer fee
Long would not be a good move for my money |

Completly disagree!! again if he comes with the correct attitude of proving his doubters wrong and showing he was/is worth that 2 year contract, personally i feel he could be a great signing who can still read and play the game aswell as pass on the knowledgeand experiance to the younger lads southernwood, davey wildie etc which money cant buy........THEN AGAIN HE COULD BE SHIT |
