Anyone know why our game at your place is on a Friday. We never miss the Harlequins fixture but just wont be able to get there in time.

You have my sympathies.

I think some of our own fans will have a hard time getting to it as well.

We suffer it with Wigan, Leeds, Saints, Reds.....etc year in year out

I agree that other Clubs inc mine (the Bulls) have you down for Friday this year,but that may be due to us playing the Whinos the following Thursday.
That said Quins don't take that many to away games what ever day its played, but I would have thought for home games the Club would want to maximise the crowd base by having Sat/Sun games considering the reported financial deficit. (even Sky don't like to show the Fri Home games of yours so I don't think its them at fault)
The Club doesnt seem keen to offer an explanation but I'm sure someone who posts on here might have an idea!

but have to say even though we do not take many to away games this year we have 7 away games on a fri night!!!!! basically means that any quins fans who want to go to any away games are stuffed!!!
Have some sympathy with you and the bulls game being a fri but take day off and come down anyhow

I'm looking forward to a home Friday night game this year.

At present your home fixtures are mainly Saturdays, a few Sundays, Easter monday and one Friday night (Bradford). Twickenham doesn't have any events listed for that weekend that would clash. Is there anything else on at the Stoop on the Saturday? Friday night will halve our away support easily. I was looking forward to a summer weekend in London wrapped around a rugby game. Now that holiday days would have to be used to get there it becomes a different matter.

That is purely because the next weekend is Easter. I think both mcNamara & McDermott would prefer to play 3 games in 11 days (Fri - Thursday - Monday) rather than 3 games in 9 days (Sun - Thursday - Monday)

Thankfully I dont need your sympathy, but looking at the crowds you pull your club could do with my money which on this occasion it will not be recieving.

And the rapid way your crowds are descending, we could both be in the same boat pretty soon.
