Last year London Broncos was crippled with a poor coach whose name is Rob Powell. London Broncos under Powell failed to achieve its full potential. Once the coach Powell was dropped and replaced by Tony Rea, the team performance improved by 200%.
London has a very strong team, especially in the backline with Gower, Dorn, Robertson, Dixon, and Sarginson all classy attacking players. It will be up to them and Witt, to improve their defence, which will make a difference. The forward pack looks strong. The new coach, Tony Rea, will likely be getting the players to achieve their potential.
Here is what I consider to be their best team:
[iLuke Dorn
Michael Robertson, Dan Sarginson, David Howell, Kieran Dixon,
Michael Witt
Craig Gower
Tony Clubb
Chris Bailey, Shane Rodney
Antonio Kaufusi, Chad Randall, Mark Bryant[/i
Interchange: [iScott Wheeldon, Olsi Krasniqi, Matt Cook, Tommy Lee [/i
This team, on paper, looks stronger than Widnes, Castleford, Salford, Bradford, Hull KR, Wakefield and Huddersfield. Hence I predict that it will probably come 7th, but no less than 8th.

Reasonable first 17 but paper thin squad, and quite a few in our backline are v average in defence (Dorn, Sarginson, Witt, Howell). Top 8 maybe, Rea's a decent coach.

Powell was a liability last year. Tony Rea is a better coach whether he can take us to the top 8 is another thing. We looked good towards the end of the year. Bring on the scousers first game in Feb
I am going to refer back to this thread throughout the season because I know I am right. All of the doubtful and dismissive people above will see that I am right.
And I know that I am right because Craig Gower is an inspirational leader who in 2012 was being undermined by a very stupid coach whom nobody respected. In 2013 the coach is a man whom all the players respect and Gower will lift the team to new heights.
There are only six teams that are certain to make the playoffs: Wigan, Warrington, St Helens, Leeds, Hull FC and Catalans. That leaves two spots for the playoffs and it will be Wakefield, Huddersfield, Hull KR and London that compete for those two spots. Gower will make the difference to put London in a very good place.
(N.B. If Gower is injured and out for the season or most of it,
[iLuke Dorn v Richard Owen - I'd actually take Dorn, always rated him.
Michael Robertson v Kirk Dixon - Robertson is a great winger, I'd take him any day.
Dan Sarginson v Michael Shenton - Shenton is head and shoulders better.
David Howell v Jake Webster - IF Webster is fit he is miles better.
Kieran Dixon v Justin Carney - Carney is an unknown, jury's out.
Michael Witt v Rangi Chase - Chase is the best 6 in the league when in form, and better than Witt even if he plays badly.
Craig Gower v Jamie Ellis - Gower is class.
Tony Clubb v Grant Millington- We haven't got a proper 13 this year and we may suffer for it, Millington is a second rower or prop.
Chris Bailey v Lee Gilmour - Gilmour's experience and work-rate nudge him ahead.
Shane Rodney v Wellar Huaraki - Depends if we get the Leeds Huaraki or the Crusaders one. My instinct tells me he will go well as a big fish in a small pond.
Antonio Kaufusi v Craig Huby - I'd love them in the same team, like Kaufusi's size but Huby's has a better offload.
Chad Randall v Darryl Clark - Clark could be the young player of the year IMO if he stays injury free. Do rate Randall but think he has too much to do at times.
Mark Bryant v Keith Mason - Mason is better.

Also think Cas have a slightly better bench and reserves, the likes of Milner, Walker, Massey, Holmes, Thompson, Emmitt and Tansey give us more utility, backup and competition for places. However, London have some players I enjoy watching and hope they do well in 2013.
QuoteBull Mania="Bull Mania"Really looking forward to seeing Dixon next year. I think his potential is outstanding.'"
I agree. This was his first year full time in the Super League. He is fast and he has a great sidestep. For such a young man he has shown great courage under the high ball. I hope that the halves and centres can give him some opportunities to find open space.
