Just been looking into having a go at making my own homebrew. Hopefully a real ale but failing that, a lager. I'd rather do it in the way described in the link below rather than buying a self-contained kit. Has anyone else ever attempted it? Or even better, anyone attempted it with success?

My granddad used to make his own homebrew.
I’m thinking of asking him for some tips on making some homemade pear cider as I love that. He has a bit of farmland to play with these days so I could grow it they!

Saying that I’ve had a nice Tetleys from Headingley before but not from the southstander bar. The one inside the paddock stand isn’t too bad. I think you have to be Rhinos 2000 member to get in though or be at Headingley for a Leeds Met game! |

Try and find a book by Dave Line called "Brewing beer like those you buy"the results are amazing if you follow the instructions.You will not believe how good the results are  |

My mates dad makes all kinds of shi.t - Wine, alcopops, beer the lot. Some of his wine stuff tastes well nice after its been left for like 3weeks/a month. I was dead impressed with it me. Strawberry flavour. Nom nom.
