| Odd one if this is the case. Very much a squad filler.

I agree, it is odd if it is him. He's 28, and only played 12 games at SL level while at London. Surely there isn't that much of a dearth of British SL level backrowers.

| We need depth and he offers that.He hasn't been signed to be our best prop. I'm OK with it.

This is a strange signing because he could just be a waste of salary cap. He does not generate any real excitement and why sign him to a two year deal. We have the young academy prop who will be ready to move up next season. I predict a greater future for him based on his performances. We currently have five props available excluding Atoni and several that can fill in that position if needed.

| I played with and against Jordan when he was coming through at Skolars. He’s a big strong lad with a quality work ethic, both in training and in games, and he’ll be very coachable. He’s a sound, quiet person who will keep standards high. He’s definitely not a backrower these days, he’s a prop. If I was being harsh I’d say that his ceiling isn’t that high, but he definitely won’t let us down when called on.
Next year we have McMeeken, Caleb, Fa’atili, Rodwell, Storton, Lolesio, Lingard and High in the middle. We’ve seen this year you can quickly lose 4 of them to injury. No complaints from me for getting another solid player in to bulk up the squad.
As for salary cap, I can’t imagine he’ll be taking up much space. Less than the first six players I mentioned above I reckon. He’ll be just about full-time with Fev and Broncos before that. And 28 isn’t that old for a prop.

Isn't that the Aussie Union Fly Half? Did you mean Jazz Tevaga? Obviously, with 2026 being our 2nd year in SL, we'll have to watch our Salary Cap as players will want improved deals and things like that. You have to back the likes of Millsy and getting this right, but it's just that he's gonna be replacing Atoni, or an option for that position, and as we've seen this year, and you alluded to, he could end up playing half the season if we have the same injury issues. From what I've seen of him, if we're planning on making our way up that table, there would be a bit of a drop off between the top 4 Props and Jordan imo, and that's something that's got us through this year when guys have been out. But hey, what do I know, and it's just my opinion. Hopefully, he's someone who can surprise us in this environment. I also wonder if this signing is a knock-on effect of 14 teams in SL, saying that the club have said they tried to get him last season, so I doubt it.

| Trey Lolesio - joining us from Redcliffe Dolphins - is Atoni’s replacement. Similar style but younger and probably on far less money.
As you say, Williams isn’t anyone’s replacement, just an option - more manpower in the middle, and won’t be a massive drop if we do end up with 4 props out.
If Tevaga, Smoothy and Lolesio fire, and the rest of the squad improves under the coaching staff (as they pretty much all have so far), then I think we’ll be a solid top 6 team next year.
