I'm surprised that Smith or Lockers don't get a mention as they have both been outstanding players this year for Wigan. Most despised team? If that were the case why are Hanley and Farrel in the list of past winners when arguably they played for a more dominant and more "despised' period of the Wigan team?

Don't forget this is the Player's Player of the season. I personally don't think that Peacock or Roby are deserving (is Peacock there at respect of his age and continuing?) I haven't seen enough of Hill to really comment and Clarke has been a cracking player but doesn't shine when Cas have been struggling.

Hanley and Farrell ? You're going back a bit there, well before they became Wrestlemania.

I expect the RFL would tell us that Wigans players are all non-entities which will cause an embarassing shuffle if they win SL again this year and have taken 3 of the last 4 trophies...ah well they can always give Wane coach of the year and say the only reason they are successful is because they have a coaching genius.
