| I think it will, temporarily, should get more in at the start of next year, and if the performances improve we may keep a few more fans. May have a similar effect to the new stadium.
As far as season tickets go, with summer rugby, I don't buy one, as like going on holiday, so miss a couple of games every year. It's not worth the savings, when you can get a ticket for any game you like. Would like to see the wire be a bit more creative when it comes to season tickets.
Any ideas? Buy four get one free?
May increase attendances at the more low key games, therefore better atmosphere. Would the club be willing to sacrifice the revenue from the big games to try and fill the stadium every week?
I would love us to adopt the attitude of trying to fill the stadium every week. I'm not suggesting going down the Wigan/Saints route of giving away loads of free tickets to non fans who get bored if the team is not winning 40 nil by half time, and start booing.
But, don't see enough from the club IMO

why?
I go the match with my mates but went to wembley with my wife and two daughters, who now want to come the match with me.
So one southstand season ticket has just turned into an east stand family season ticket. I am sure there will be other instances of this.

| I think that our average home gate will increase but I am not too sure that our season ticket sales will rise that much.
I know season are good value if you go to every game, but for me the ability to get tickets for any match was the big advantage.
This has been less of an advantage this year as most people who wanted tickets for the big games have been able to get them.
There are lots of factors involved in our reduced gates and I think the credit crunch has a part to play.

| I hope it will do, but there were still only 8500 there against Wakey the week before Wembley. The vast majority of the newcomers would have had their final tickets by then, but couldn't be bothered to come along for a preview.
The best way to increase support is to win things. We have done that, now we have to be consistent in the league.

When do tickets get given out for free at Wigan?
Not often our fans boo or throw season tickets on the field.

| After the move to the HJ and some 'promising' performances we got the average gate up past 11,000. Since then, disillusion has set in - people have decided they will 'belive it when they see it'. Add the recession and you get a recipe for folks staying at home again.
Now that we have won the cup we should expect an increase in the average home gate. We should all start by trying to fill the ground for the Harlequins game even through they will bring few fans themselves.
