Why does ever thread seem to end up merged or locked nowadays. Its a forum for christ sake let people talk !

I think that so many threads are locked these days because so many members post drivel or say things that could be seen as slander. For example a while back someone posted on here suggesting that a player had or was having an extra martial relationship. I Pm'd one of the Mods to inform them of this and the thread got deleted.

Perhaps if people would stick to topic and be respectful and mindful when they post then this forum would be a lot better for us all to read and engage in.
