| ArthurClues: Simmo71: Yeh, a really bad day at the office. Frustrating cos Cats were there for the taking. Mistakes cost us. Cut out some of those and we win that game. The intensity, line speed and defence are really good. BA has clearly focussed on that and it shows. But the attack was just awful. Croft had a shocker, but he's that kind of player. We have to stick with him. Frawley offers nothing and Connor has to play in the halves. But can't see BA doing that. Frawley is strong defensively and that's why BA likes him. Unless Frawley does a stint at 9 with O'Connor, because sadly Ackers has been really poor for us. Both wingers played well. Lumb looks better every game and will surely make the grade. At FB I expect. And was impressed with ECW. Also impressed with Jenkins and Palaasia - both ran well. Thought Jenkins was the pick of the front rowers. Gannon is looking really good. He plays instead of McDonnell who hasn't got going yet this season. But the mistakes and lack of cutting edge cost us dearly. Much to work on still. Tough 3 games coming up now. But I think that's a good thing. We go into all of them as underdogs. I think we'll get something from the 3 games.
BA surely has no option but to play Connor in the halves with Frawley concussed and Miller returning. If he does well there he would be very hard to drop. If Hall returns there is also an interesting call to make re ECW. I have no axe to grind with Harry Newman, but find it really hard to locate his threat nowadays. Can't remember the last time he beat a tackle or made a clean break. Could ECW have more to offer at present? Wouldn't make Arthur popular but it seems a bit timid to wait for an injury to find out. Totally agree and I would play ECW at centre with Connor in the halves.I would go another step further which again might not be popular and drop Ackers and have O`Connor starting with Sinfield on the bench to cover hooker.

| YosemiteSam: chapylad: Yep all our plans to use Sivo/Hall to get us out of our half have gone to pot. I would still consider it a failure though if we didn`t finish 5th this year. No doubt another year next season of rebuilding. Think that takes us to 12 years now.
Things built in less than 12 years.
Panama Canal - 10 Hadrians Wall - 6 Colosseum- 8 Canadian Pacific Railway - 4 Channel Tunnel - 6 Oh, and from a standing start, 8 to put a man on the moon and only 13 for Alexander the Great to establish his empire. Conclusion - at the end of our epic, nay legendary, rebuilding programme, we'll surely have a team and infrastructure to dominate RL forever.
Superb !!! LOL LOL LOL

| Leeds have built a team (multiple times) in the course of the last 12 years. The problem is that it just hasn't been very good, except in very rare patches. This could go on for years and years. Warrington have thrown money at their team for a lot longer and still not won a GF.

Share the general sentiment, but why 12 years? We won the treble in 2015 and the GF in 2017, so although it feels like a dozen it's a mere 8.
