Blimey, I had to blink a few times reading that list because it feels like someone has accidentally switched us from the usual Broncos soap opera to an Avengers assemble moment. Wallis arriving was enough to make me sit up, then Voro, Lovell, Kapinias, Croft, Walker, Davidson, Mathias, Bienek, Bitungane and Luke Smith all piling in like it is some sort of pre Christmas flash sale on quality players. I genuinely cannot remember a more explosive start to a squad build. It is like waking up one morning and finding the club has been replaced by the version we always moaned we never got.
The optimism is real. You can almost feel this group being shaped into something that will run through teams rather than just hanging in there. If these lads hit the ground anywhere near their peak then there is every chance we stop being the plucky underdog and start being the side that dishes out the hidings. Quite a refreshing change from the usual emotional rollercoaster.
And now we have hints of land and training ground owned moves floating about as well which, honestly, feels borderline surreal after the last decade. It is the sort of rumour you normally file under things that would be nice but will never happen. Yet here we are in 2025 with ownership that seems to be ticking off impossible things before breakfast for 2026.
I am absolutely buzzing to see the fixtures drop now. For once it feels like we can circle dates with excitement rather than dread. If this lot gel we could be watching one of the strongest Championship sides EVER. Roll on the season because I am struggling not to refresh the news feed every five minutes.

Yes well worth the watch. No one can accuse them of cutting corners. Really are trying to do the right things. Really hope public get behind them. 150 odd season tickets sold isn’t bad by Bronxos recent standards but they must be a bit worried.

Alex Mak now.
I'm genuinely starting to worry that our squad is too big. FFS.
Me too. I suppose a Possible risk of so many PNG players is they don’t acclimatise to UK winter or the style of play over here, in which case lots of cover will be invaluable.

| I get why people are twitchy about the squad getting to big but I honestly can’t remember the last time being a Broncos fan felt this hopeful. After years of scraping by it’s refreshing to see us build something resembling depth rather than cross our fingers till Easter. A couple of the old guard are part time, so it isn’t quite the Galácticos project some are imagining. It’s more finally stocking the cupboard after years of living off Pot Noodles. Most of the PNG lads won’t be on headline money and the acclimatisation worry is fair because a British winter can turn anyone grey, but that’s exactly why having numbers matters. Better to have cover we’ve actually chosen than the usual scramble for emergency loans.
Season tickets will creep up once people process the idea of RCG and maybe Havili actually pulling on Broncos colours, which still feels like spotting a unicorn on Tooting High St. Some signings will click straight away, some will be learning experiences and one or two might be questioning their life choices by February, but for once it looks like we’re trying to build a squad that might survive more than three hamstring tweaks.

| Oh god yes. I was more commenting on how ridiculous it is that I'm getting nervous about having a too big squad after last year at the same point.

| Assuming there are no late curveballs, this looks very close to a settled London Broncos squad for 2026. It feels like a properly thought through group rather than an open ended churn, with a mix of retained players, targeted overseas recruits and a few familiar UK names brought in to add hard edge and consistency. The only real surprise for me is James Meadows, mainly because he splits opinion, but that doesn’t automatically mean a first team spot either. He could just as easily be squad depth or a reserves option, someone who helps you through the grind, covers injuries and adds competition for places without being guaranteed a starting role. That said, London rarely sit completely still, so it wouldn’t be a shock if one or two smart additions arrive later, particularly if injuries or visa timings create an obvious gap.
