So, a difficult start to the season fixture wise, officials seem to be making it tough for us, and injuries a plenty. As Yazz once said.........................The only way is up!
I totally agree with you Cokey it has been a tough start to the season but most clubs are having injury problems. The five year plan is to progress each season and until this season that has happened, but we have failed to replace the likes of O'Donnell with players of anywhere near similar quality. Joffa is a top quality signing but we should have also kept Tom. Recruitment this season has been below par compared with our competitors, yet they are constrained by the same salary cap. Maybe we are not spending up to cap? Taking into consideration the number of injuries it is clear that the squad is not nearly as strong as the other clubs expected to make the play-offs. Our top seventeen are quality but most Super League clubs have significant injuries and our lack of depth us being exposed. I remain surprised they can be staying within the cap.
